The BBC were at Aston Down today such is the local interest in The VGC Rally.
Our own Robin Birch was on hand as tour guide around the hangar to enable the production team to understand the passion the VGC have with keeping these beautiful flying machines in the air. I detected a real interest from the production crew not withstanding that the camera man had at one time flown in a K13. Robin was persuaded to conduct part of his interview from the cockpit after which the production team moved to the cross runway where, despite the gusty winds, flying had commenced. The final edit will be on air in the local BBC Points West News on Tuesday or Wednesday evening this week at 6.30pm.
